No more sifting through the contents of a gym bag or backpack looking for your heart rate monitor! This sturdy, zippered case holds your Edge or Forerunner unit along with accessories such as the heart rate monitor strap, charging cradle and USB cable. Great for keeping it all together when you travel. Features air holes for ventilation and end loop for attachment options.
This item holds all of my Forerunner 405cx perfect. I have the straps for small wrists for my watch, so watch fits in very comfortably. It can carry the charger, clip, watch, heart monitor strap and probably a few other small items. I thought I was a great deal for the price, considering the same item is $30 on the Garmin website. If you spend the money for a Forerunner... might as well buy a carry case and keep it safe!!!
I love this case. it's semi rigid format really protects your Garmin while travelling etc. I can get my 305, the HR strap, cradle and cord in there with room to spare for other items. I like th quality and the way the clamshell design incorporates two mesh pockets. Perfect.
Posts about concerns regarding how the heart monitor fits into this holder are unfounded. The HR sensor sections are obviously made to be flexible because they come in the original box requiring more bending than they need to be in this carrying case. Everything fits perfectly. You just have to position a few of the items alternately so that the face of the Garmin isn't smashed into the charging plug or other hard item. The case is hard enough to more than adequately protect your investment.
If you want to keep everything together, this is your item. You'll spend more than $20 in time figuring something else out if you don't get this. Better to be running or biking instead :)
When I first received this in the mail, I thought it was a little bulky for what I needed. I quickly learned that it holes everything I need to bring with me without having to carry anything in my hand. It's the perfect carryalong pouch that holds small items you will need.
I thought that the case would slightly bigger than my Garmin, but in fact it is much bigger. Not very handy to carry around.
