With New Balance's BB906 high top, you can burn up the court without taking a toll on your feet. Its synthetic and mesh upper is lightweight and breathable, its tongue and collar sport supportive cushioning and a moisture-wicking mesh lining, and its super-cushy insole offers maximum comfort, while its shock-absorbing heel and Ndurance outsole will keep you secure on your feet so you're ready for the next fast break.
these shoes are amazingly comfortable and great looking. i like them more than my jordans, and other shoes made by Nikes. Plus, you can't beat the price on these things. I bought 3 pair, cause i love them sooo much. :)
if you are a true baller get them before it's gone!!!
Like all companies, New Balance is looking for profit. In order to do that, they have to keep redesigning their sneaker line. This sneaker (the 906) is a classic example of how greed and poor management can lead to failure. That being said: here is my review. The 906 pros and cons:
Pros: Light, good torsional rigidity, appropriate forefoot flexion (at the right spot), and descent heel stability, and good sweat absorption/dissemination... but i've come to expect these things from NB.
Cons: The toe box went from pretty descent in the BB905 to just enough space so the average joe doesn't complain. I attribute the less than roomy toe-box to the unforgiving patent leather upper (the upper is hard to move-like a stone wall). Short stops on the court can possibly leave you with black nail from micorhemorrhages from crashing your toes to the unforgiving uppers. I were a 2E wide foot, and this sneaker felt much tighter than the BB905 in 2E, but it wasn't that huge of a difference in fit. The problem is that this sneaker kind of tapers abruptly in the front leaving you with a kind of goofy looking sneaker (maybe I'm the only that would notice this though). The worse part of this sneaker is the rear where your achilles tendon meets the sneakers posterior rim/lip or edge. This area is extremely underpadded and abrasive(though it may not appear this way at first). I immediately felt the scraping back there and now have to wear band-aids until the skin heals up.
In all I regret buying it and only purchased it because 1)I need wide baskteball shoes (not many companies make them)2)NB had me on the discontinued the BB905... what a mistake. I would have given a 2.5/5 but you can only do whole numbers. You can read my review of BB905 on the link below.
