Wrong size

I ordered a woman's size 8 through amazon, and through the check out everything was fine. When I received the confirmation email of my product after ordering, is when the description of the shoe changed from what I viewed on amazon, and it turned out to be a "youth" size 8. I contacted the vendor immediately, and unfortunately they had filled the order the same day, therefore I had to wait until it was shipped to me, return it, and then get my money back about 10 days later. Absolutely annoying and frustrating. I played it safe and went to an actual store in person and picked out the correct shoes. To satisfy my curiosity, I went on amazon again and went through the steps again as I did the first time, and indeed, no where did it specify that it was a youth shoe I was adding to my cart.
I will not buy apparel online again.

RUNS SMALL!

These are a cute sneaker. My daughter loves them, but they run small. I strongly suggest ordering a half size (at least) larger than usual. My daughter was a little upset that we had to exchange these, but they do ship fast so it won't be long before the replacement arrives. These are made really well and also come with an ECKO charm bacelet.

UPDATE - These run TERRIBLY SMALL! I have sent back 3 pair so far and waiting on the 4th to arrive. My daughter wears a size 1 or 1.5 . I just sent back a size 3 because it was still too small. Last night I bought her a pair of shoes to wear in the meantime and they were a size 1! She has her heart set on these so we just keep reoring and returning. Hopefully the size 3.5 will work out. I think it will because in the 3, her toes were just touching the top of the shoe. I am very hopeful because she is upset that they keep ending up too small and I am tired of making all these returns. Definitely try this brand on in store before purchasing online or be sure to order at least a size and a half - 2 sizes bigger than usual. The shoe itself is pretty cute and looks pretty well made. My daughter was drawn to them because she saw one of the girls from Disney channel wearing them. Of course these are not available in any stores near me to make it easy on me!
