great sturdy and comfy sandals
My boys have been wearing this type of sandal since they were size 5. Now i'm buying it in size 11 adn it's still one of their favorites. It's especially great when it's on sale!

MY 2 YEAR OLD SON AND I LOVE THESE SHOES. THEY ARE HIS SECOND PAIR AND I WILL KEEP BUYING THEM UNTIL HE OUTGROWS THE SIZE THEY MAKE THEM UP TO. EASY TO PUT ON AND TAKE OFF. THEY DON'T LOOK OR FEEL CHEAP AND ARE VERY VERSATILE. STRIDE RITE MAKES GREAT SHOES FOR KIDS, HANDS DOWN. LIVING IN FLORIDA MEANS MY SON GETS TO WEAR THESE YEAR ROUND.
Stride Rite Toddler Wyatt Sandal - Runs small in size
This is a beautiful sandal, but it runs very small - in length and width. I ordered a 6W for my son. The width is fine, partly because of the velcro snaps. The length, however, is much shorter than a standard size 6. (I also ordered a Stride Rite Toddler girls sandal in size 6 and it is much longer). I would suggest ordering at least one size up.
StrideRite are one of the few I can depend on
These are well made, as are all the Stride Rite shoes I've purchased for my grandson since December 2006 (and back in the early 80s for my girls). I think these, even though they are marked XW, are not as wide as others I've purchased. They are more like a regular wide, but because of the velco at the toe and over the arch, they work; and then seem to run about 1/2 size smaller. But since I ordered them a little large, they actually fit just right. I can't believe I considered buying sandles for $30 or more, when these are just as good for nearly 1/2 that. I'd buy them again.
