Perfect for camp

My daughter is a size three, but I think these run a little small. Clean up great, a little difficult to take off, so she is bothered when stuff gets in the shoe. Would buy again.

From Creek Playing to Rock Climbing Walls

My 7 yr. old son goes to an entirely "outdoor" camp. The kids play in a creek, go rock climbing, canoeing, play soccer, etc... I needed a combination water shoe and sneaker. He also has wide feet, so it's difficult at times to find a water shoe that fits. Since the kids are in and out of the creek and the lake various times of the day I needed one shoe that could do it all. Thank you Keens! I bought him the "green" colored Keens, which after a day at camp sometimes looked more brown, from the mud. I left them out to dry overnight, brushed off the dried mud and they turned green again every time. They were still in great shape after 6 weeks of camp. I recommend these shoes to all my friends for their kids. Very durable and worth it!

Great Kid's Summer Shoe

I bought these shoes/sandals for my 5 year old son. He has a very wide foot and also hates to wear shoes. (Partly due to his wide foot and high arch.) After reading reviews that said these shoes run small, I ordered 1 size larger than he wears. They fit perfectly so remember to order up!

This style is a little different that the original, similar-looking Newport Keen sandal. The straps are heavy webbing material and the heel is closed-in with a neoprene type fabric. It still has the unique, adjustable elastic closure but they have added a velcro strap at the top. This is a big improvement because it makes it much easier to put on and take off the shoe (for your child or you).

They are completely waterproof and can also be thrown in the washing machine. They feature a distinctive rubber toe cap that protects little toes. The sole is thick and medium weight. It's also fairly stiff. Not unusually so, but if your child is one who wants a very flexible sole, this is not it.

My son thinks they look great and although he still prefers bare feet, he doesn't argue much about wearing these.

Excellent Shoe

I bought this shoe, in toddler size, for my then one year old little boy for summer. I wanted a tough, durable shoe that wouldn't trip him every couple feet (like most cheap sandals do). These shoes were great. The sole is just like a regular shoe and so toddlers can walk around with no trouble. And, they stay looking great. He wore them every day for months and they still look new. I'm buying another pair for this next summer and the other pair have been passed on to the cousins. I highly recommend Keens. Very much worth the money.
