Sizing for boots
I love the boots- so cute. Anyone know what the sizing chart looks like? I have a 3.5yr old who wears 8.5 size shoes but don't know what size to get him in boots. Thanks!
Cute but don't hold up
These are great for light use -- Halloween or maybe the dress up box. My son is 7. He was thrilled to get these. He's into anything related to fire fighting. (Dad is a volunteer fire fighter, besides.) He needed boots so we bought these. Then bought the rain coat and matching helmet so he would look like daddy in his turn out gear. He is very responsible especially with things he treasures, but guess what? Within a month the sole had separated from the rest of the boot. We got a cute jacket and hat we don't really need and a little boy who is very disappointed.
Great for a fireboy!
MY 3 yr old loves these boots. He can easily put them on by himself, and they keep him happy and dry.
Matthew's Boots
My nephew goes to bed in these and his mother has to take them off after he is asleep. I guess you could say he loves them.
I little unsure about 343
My son loves firemen. We saw these in the store and he had to have them. When we got home I realized they had the 343 on them. 343 is the number of firemen who died on 9/11. I think that is a very strange thing to put on a childs shoe. We live in New York City and have many friends who are in the FDNY. I am not so sure it is appropriate for my son to wear these boots. I just thought I would let people know what 343 means.
