Perfect for special occassion or costume

If you have seen the red ruby or silver slippers in Target, these are identical except they are pink. I bought them to match my 5-year-old daughter's ballerina costume for Halloween. They looked perfect (exactly as shown) with her costume and saw her through two parades, two costume contests, two parties and two trick-or-treat runs. After Halloween, I let her wear them to preschool and within two days all the glitter rubbed off the toe area exposing what looked to be ragged, off white cardboard. The shoes aren't really made of cardboard, but something similar. I didn't expect these shoes to last much longer than Halloween and I got what I expected. They are perfect for a low cost solution to those special occassion dress up/photo op opportunities, but they aren't meant for every day wear. BTW, my daughter doesn't care that the toe area looks ragged, she still likes them. As for fit, they fit fine lengthwise, but the stap on top is tight and hurts after a while.

Love them/Hate them

My four year old daughter LOVES these shoes! We are on our 3rd or 4th pair now. The issue is that the sparkles always start to fall off the first day she wears them and by the end of the first week there are bare patches on the toes and by the end of the first month they are totally trashed. She refuses to wear any other shoes so I end up buying another pair (at $10, it's not so bad, but still)

Cute but hard to slip on

I bought these in a size 4 for my daughter and they are nearly impossible to slip on her. They might work on an older child better but the strap is too close to my daughter's ankle so it is difficult to get her foot in.
