great shoe

i have used stride rite for my baby boy since he was a year old. as always no complains with this one too. easy to wear and remove. my 2 yr old can also do it sometimes. dress it up or dress it down, it goes with everything. i prefer this one over the open toed variety as when they run their feet stay controlled and less fall therefore. over all a great shoe.

order 1 size up compared to the store sizes. I ordered a half size up and they are the exact same as the 1/2 size down we had. So in easy terms a size 10 is the same as a 9.5!! I took them to the store after ordering from amazon and they confirmed the size 10 tagged was the same as their 9.5.

Cute, but they are more suited for an older child

I bought these for my 14 month old son. They look darling in person and seem to be well-padded. He didn't even have them on long, however, before his feet started to appear pinkish, especially around the top of the sandal. I had to take them off and carry him, as I didn't want to allow them to damage his skin. They fit him properly, so it wasn't a sizing issue. I don't feel they are healthy for soft, chubby, little feet.

Great Sandals

I bought these sandals for my 7 year old son. He LOVES them. I love them because these sandals protect his little toes. My son wore these sandals on vacation and not once did he complain that his feet hurt! I will def be getting a couple more pair for the coming years!!

Not really XW

I bought these shoes after going to the stride rite website and printing off the shoe size chart (just to make sure I was getting the right size for my son in case his feet had changed - they hadn't.). When they arrived, just by looking at them, I could tell they weren't going to work. They didn't even come close to the width or length of our other stride rite shoes in the same size and width. Don't know if I got a funky pair, or if they just screwed these shoes up bad, but I'm trying a different model and hoping that I can still find sandles for my son that are wide enough.
