This shoe features the DMX 10 technology, dynamic cushioning system. This shoe features a padded collar and tongue. This helps to prevent blisters and lace bruising. The radial construction forefoot allows for exceptional cushioning and flexibility.The footbed is a tri-layer construction. The moisture absorbent OrthoLite foam top layer and dual-density EVA foam bottom layer allow for variable cushioning, and comfort. The lightweight cushioning midsole helps to reduce foot and leg fatigue. The rubber outsole is constructed exclusively for durable traction. The Fiberlon shank is lightweight and delivers midfoot support and its airport friendly! The full-grain leather upper is easy to clean and maintain.

A Great Shoe

I am a 195 lb. over pronator with very flat feet. The forefoot cushioning in the Rockport Blackville is amazing. I wear fairly stiff custom orthotics in these shoes and the cushioning makes your feet feel like you are walking barefoot on a plush carpet. I recently had occasion to need to walk 3 miles at a 4 MPH pace, and my feet still felt fine when I completed the trek. I replaced 18 year old Rockport Prowalkers with these Blackvilles and feel it was a good choice.

Awesome shoe!!. I have researched all of the prowalker style Rockport shoes and these are absolutely the highest quality of the lot. The dynamic cushioning is amazing. I have purchased two pairs and hope they never discontinue the model.
