You're really going places in this premium sporty casual from Allen-Edmonds. Soft calfskin leather upper in a casual sporty oxford style, with stitching and seaming accents, front and heel leather or suede overlays and side striping detail. Full lace up front with a lightly padded tongue and collar. Smooth leather lining, cushioned leather topped fixed and removable comfort insoles. Sporty flexible midsole with wrap detail. Comfortable, casual, but heavy

As usual, Allen Edmonds has crafted an exceptional quality shoe. The Traveler is extremely well made, uses the best materials, and is casual yet classy in its design. It's a great shoe for the casual work environment so prevelant in corporate America today. I would have given this shoe 5 stars, but its weight cost it a star. The shoe is very heavy. The hard rubber sole is 3/4" to 1" think and must be solid as the shoe feels heavy in your hand and on your foot. By no means is it so heavy as to be uncomfortable, but Traveler is probably a misnomer as I would never pack these shoes in my suitcase simply due to their weight. I'm probably harping too much on the weight issue, but as an owner of 6 pairs of Allen Edmonds shoes, it was enough of a surprise when the shoes arrived that I can't give it 5 stars. That being said...would I buy another pair of their Casual Comfort collection? Absolutely.

Best Shoes

I have three pair of Allen Edmond Shoes and they are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I have had many complements on the style of the "Traveler".
