Puma Espera-Great shoes

I read a review from a previous shopper and decided to get it one size bigger. What a mistake, there was no need to order the larger size. It fits big now and I have wide feet. So in my opinion, you should buy your own shoe size. All in all, I love them, they are comfortable and easy to take off and on. I used them to travel on airplane and its great. You dont have to worry about wearing socks,or any shoe laces. Overall, they made my trip wonderful.

cute but painful!

this shoe is very cute but not recommended for people with wide feet (like me!) i always get blisters on my 4th and 5th toe because of the way the shoe curves towards the big toe. it does run a bit small too which was also a problem as the bigger size would slip off my heel. i had to put heel stickers to solve the problem. these shoes are cute but make sure you dont use them when you know you're going to be walking a long time!

Awesome!

I saw these at the Puma store and they weren't available in my size. I absolutely love them. They run 1/2 a size smaller and I had tried on my actual size, which is a 9.5, at the store and it was very snug. So I knew to order the 10. They're definitely one of the cutest flats I own and I get compliments on them all the time. You can't run any miles in them but for they're perfect for kicking round town.

Espera's run one-size too small

I finally managed to get ahold of a pair of these really cool shoes but it should be noted that they run small - a solid full size. I wear a size 10 - always. The size 10 Esperas I got were unbelievably small and I had to return them. With trepidation, I ordered an 11 (I don't own any other shoe in size 11) and they fit fine. In fact, they are even properly snug since they are a ballet-slipper style sandal at their core (i.e. no extra toe room.) I do have narrow feet and they are slightly wide on me (the velcro straps do little to change the width), but so is every other medium-width shoe. As I do often, I got some mini inserts to help fill out the heel half. I am able to walk around in them without getting blisters or being uncomfortable.

Style wise - I'd say these should be considered more on the "girl-shoe" side of things than the "fancy-sneaker" side. The soles are tapered to a wedge and so much of the shoe is open with the funky cut-outs, that these don't give the support to, say, go run around in the park. But they're great for just walking around town.
