Custom fit - best boot I've ever had.

I've been in scouting for years and had some really crappy boots. I finally took the advice given in training and had someone who knew about boots check out my feet, my walk and all that. They recommended these boots (and the version before). I absolutely love them. They fit ME. I suggest if you are looking at these boots, check with someone who will fit YOU, then buy these if they are on your list.

Worst case story on these boots: I wore them on an ATV outing in Mexico and was completely covered in mud. At the end of the trip, to clean off, I just walked into the ocean, boots and all to get the mud off. They smelled a little fishy after that but held up well. I probably should have soaked them in clean water after the salt water. Oh well.

The price seemed a little steep at first. I was used to buying my boots from WallMart or Target. They money was well worth it. These are prety much the only shoes I wear any more.They hold up between 6 and 18 months depending on how I wear them. Having 2 pair definitely increases their life.

Best Winter Shoes

Best Winter walking shoe that I have worn. When the weather turns cold, wet and sloppy out these are the shoes to wear. Keeps your feet dry and warm. I only wish that the soles would last longer.

nice walking shoes

I like New Balance because of their wider widths.(I needed 4E). These shoes fit true to size & width. I like the metal eyelets. I think that says something of the quality of the shoe. Also i've had surgery on both feet. My foot doc recommeded New Balance shoes. Cost wise i payed 139.00 for these shoes, then just two day after i received them i was on amazon web site and seen the same shoes HALF OFF(I did notice they were not showing a 4E size).That's a kick in the butt.

Very comfortable

I bought these for a friend who does not have transportation and walks everywhere. He says they are very comfortable and keeps his feet dry. I got them quick too !!

Great shoe

I've been a UPS driver for 22 years. I am running all day.I've tried hundreds of shoes.The 977 is the best. They are very comfortable and super light. Waterproof is just an added bonus.
