Life is easy now
Before i bought this remote my life was always in the training mode, teaching my kids and my wife what buttons to use on 6 different remotes. Finally after buying a new tv and receiver they said thats enough. We should have had this a long time ago,it only took about ten minutes to program and start enjoying life a lot easier. One button and you are on your way to enjoyment.
Harmony One
Pretty impressed with this so far. It seems able to control all 9 devices I needed it to - a couple of them better than the remotes that came with them.
However, it is quite fiddly to program, I keep finding odd things that I need to tweak so am currently updating it every few days. So far I haven't found anything I haven't been able to fix but sometimes this takes one or more attempts.
Awesome
I have bought a dreat number of remote controls and this one is by far the best one I've ever bought. I have two Harmony 880 and a 590 remote.
About as good as it gets
Form factor is right, tactile feel is right, and the rechargeable battery is, so far, working out just fine. As a long time Harmony remote fan, this seems to be the pinnacle of development for the universal remote. I haven't found any faults yet, it just works very well.
Great product but a challenge to set up correctly
I ordered the Hamrony One to control my Samsung TV, DirecTV box, and Yamaha Receiver. The system is working fine today about a month after I bought it but there is a steep learning curve to get the best out of the system and the supporting information provided by Logitech is not great.
So mission accomplished on one front, we have gone from 4 remotes down to 2 ( The PlayStation 3 can't be controlled without addition hardware) and it is very easy to use once programmed correctly.
