Good pair of shoes

Although I usually do never order shoes online, as I have to try on several models + sizes in a shop until one fits, up to now Rockport shoes (this is the second I ordered) were nearly perfect and quite comfortable shoes.

It's a pity that Rockport Shoes are not any more being sold in Germany.
So I always ask my parents to bring me a pair (I ordered online) when they are on holiday in the U.S.

The soes is good, i just all of a suddden need a smaller size, i think my foot shrunk :-)

Awesome shoes!

I loved the shoes from the minute I took them out of the box. They are very comfortable and they look great. The color is a deep chocolate brown. They can be worn with a more dressed-up appearance or with casual attire. The price was reasonable and they run true-to-size. I'm very happy with these Rockports...thanks Amazon.

Very comfortable after break-in period

This is one of the best dress shoes I've ever purchased! However, it didn't start out that way. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is that it took quite a long time before the shoe was broken in enough to be worn comfortably.

It took two weeks of wearing them 12 hrs/day before they stopped hurting my feet (I dreaded whenever I had to walk more than 10 feet at a time), but now that they're broken in, they feel great!

They don't have a super glossy finish, so they're more suited for business casual than black tie. I have more formal dress shoes for special occasions, so these are exactly what I need for every-day wear. They go great with both slacks and jeans.

Best of all, they're waterproof, so I don't have to worry about wet socks if I happen to step in a puddle of water while waking through a dark parking lot (happens from time to time at work).

Not a lot of shine, but a LOT of COMFORT

I've bought a lot of dress shoes over the years, but I have NEVER felt more comfortable shoes from the first time I put them on. Not even a break-in period - dang and these comfortable!

These shoes do not have a high-gloss high-dress type of shine like you might see on other Rockport, Florsheim, etc. modified wingtips. They're borderline casual finish. I don't care - I wear them with my suits. Good rubber soles are great on wet tile surfaces, high-gloss lobbies, etc.

Did I mention how comfortable they are?
