THE BEST SHOE EVER

My last pair of these sandals lasted over 10 years with frequent wear. You can't beat them for comfort and durability. Great with socks in the winter too!

Great Birkies. Wrong size

I love Birkenstocks. Been wearing them for many years. When my 1994 pair finally wore out, I bought these for a killer price. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong size. My bad. Returned them and was charged the return shipping cost. Oh well.

Got another pair, the RIGHT size this time and they were shipped very quickly. They are very, very comfortable and last forever. $78.00 for real leather Birkenstocks is a great price.

Birkenstock devotee, satisfied

I've been wearing Birkenstocks for years now. When I was looking to replace my last pair, Amazon seemed to have the best prices. The sandals are what I expected--they tore my feet up a bit while I was breaking them in, but after a couple weeks, they're pretty comfortable. It'll still be a little while before they're totally molded to my feet, but I'm happy with the purchase.

Birkenstock can't stand the heat.

Buyer beware! My Birkenstocks were in the car this spring and it turned into a 90 degree day. The cork and sole literally separated and shrank! Turns out this is a common flaw. There's a warning on the website and in the care of Birkenstocks info you receive...but it isn't covered by warranty. I wouldn't buy another pair because I would like my sandals to survive in the heat of Montana...

Comfy!

Obviously, Birkies are great sandals, they take a bit of getting used to, don't give up on them, your feet will thank you! The color makes all the difference, it makes the sandals a bit more modern and girly - less granola like! I'm a convert now, my feet are happy and my back is too! I even bought a pair of the Birkie clogs for around the house, to wear instead of slippers, expensive slippers I know but worth it on my ceramic tile floors, you don't realize the amount of time you spend on your feet at home, it's just as important to have good shoes there as well - go with a fun color to give the sandals an updated look!
