Product Description
An excellent choice for overpronators (foot rolls inward) or those with a low arch, this shoe features the stabilizing Rollbar® GR, a TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) posting system (medial and lateral) that minimizes rearfoot movement for extra motion control. But thats not all! An Abzorb® FL foam midsole provides cushiony comfort, and Abzorb® SBS cushioning (located in the heel and forefoot) creates optimal shock absorption. Doctor Recommended
I have plantar fasciitis and a bone spur. My podiatrist recommended this shoe specifically. It is a very comfortable shoe without an orthotic and even more comfortable with it. I can walk for hours with no heel pain. The mesh upper keeps my feet cool and the lilac and dark purple (lollipop) accents are very nice.
Comfy shoe
Bought these shoes to help alleviate heel pain. They look kind of odd when viewed from interior ankle. They are super comfy and have provided some relief. Just wish there were more color choices!!
Great Shoes
My podiatrist always recommended I use New Balance for my heel spurs and this pair really feel great and give me the extra support I need. This is my second pair I purchase in this style which is best for flat arches.
comfort & lightweight
These New Balances are just what I needed for my plantar faciatis. I went for a walk and wore them at work for three days straight. They are lighweight and supportive. A little pricey, but worth every penny. Make sure you order a half size up, they run small and I had to send my first pair back.
Great running shoe...
My chiropractor recommended this shoe for its motion control. I have a problem knee that creates problems on down to my ankle and makes my foot track wonky. I have been running with it for about 3 weeks and I do like it. It is light, comfortable and does a great job stabilizing my gait. I run at least 3 miles every day (almost)and will definetly be able to increase my distance with these shoes.
My only caveat is that I didn't realize a "D" meant wide...seems silly since I have been buying my own shoes for over 25 years. I had always seen women's width stated as "W" and since regular width is a "D" in men's, I had originally bought a size 7D. Unfortunately, Amazon does not simply exchange when it is our mistake but forces you to take a refund and reorder. I did, but lost a $25 savings on a "Special Promotion" price when I reordered.
