I found these to be true to size, both in length and width. Clarks have had a reputation for quality both on the continent and off for many years and these sandals certainly fit the bill. I bought these to do a lot of walking on the cobblestones of Rome and they have served me well so far. I suffer from plantar fascitis in one foot as a result of a severe back injury, many back surgeries (6) and having dealt with chronic pain for 30 years. I need extra arch support as a result. They provide good arch support, but could be a bit more exaggerated than they are, but that could just be my personal need. They are attractive enough to wear with a skirt and perfect with shorts, pants, capris or jeans. The bronze is a perfect neutral and goes with just about anything.Great Sandals

These do run narrow which is great for me. I normally wear a AA width and they fit me perfectly. Very attractive and sleek, but enough arch and heel support to be very comfortable. I don't usually pay this price for casual sandals, but I really got my money's worth.Walk for comfort
This is my second pair of this style. The first one I purchased was exactly the same style, except its all leather. It is so comfortable that I had to buy a second pair above. I'm so glad it came in this material for variety. I can walk all day without any problem. No rubbing on the toes, no aching calves nor feet. I usually wear shoes with arch support because I have flat feet. But this particular Clark brand just do me fine. No arch support, yet I can walk around the mall carrying a 20 pounds toddler and my feet just feel fine.Tips in buying. I had to buy a half size smaller. Rather than size 7, I got the 6.5.
